When I was in my last year at OCAD, I lived about a block away from this intersection. I chose this image to use as the basis for a painting because of how much it reminded me of the atmosphere I remember from my time living there. The signs, cars, and even buildings have changed since this 1960s glimpse, but somehow the feel of the place remains unaltered.
